Your Guide

It is only through the love of gardens and gardening that my wife and I decided to share our experience with other like-minded people.

Within the last 15 years we have created a four acre garden from a barren hillside. Having spent all our lives in this area we took special care to ensure that the garden sat harmoniously within the beautiful scenery which surrounds it. Then we opened for the National Garden Scheme and met some great people who love visiting gardens.

While the garden was open for the N.G.S. we became Assistant County Organisers which introduced us to many private gardens.

We were also involved with Barnstaple in Bloom and found ourselves fortunate to be part of the team that went to Amsterdam representing England in The Nations in Bloom.

Whether it is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter the gardens of this area have so much to offer and with Tarka Garden Tours as your guide you will return home with fond memories of this beautiful region.
